Drum Beat Experience

If you or your company have never tried this experience then you are in for real surprise!! Based on the elemental language of African drumming, this activity is designed to highlight the importance of non verbal communication, teamwork and cooperation. Ideal for group sizes from 30 to 3000, everyone will be equipped with a genuine African drum and will sit in concentric semi circles. Guided by your expert facilitators, you will learn some simple beats and natural rhythms; so begins the individual and group journey of discovery.

As the group masters their unique beat, you will learn how to follow specific signs and signals in order to develop new compositions. Once the beats have been learnt, any of you may volunteer to become leader of your orchestra and create, with the whole company, your own truly unique Drum Beat.

This is a great activity that quickly establishes a strong sense of team and unity. Perfect for ice breakers, or to begin or end a corporate event.

This activity can last from a 15 min. warm up session to a 2 hour intensive. Average courses last about 1 – 1 ½ hours.

The weather has no impact on the event. This is an indoor activity at all times to insure sound quality.

WHAT TO WEAR
Clothing is not an issue but it should be noted that the Jambe is a large wooden object and is placed in between the legs.
